Here are just a few of the many events going on at Granite State ski areas.
• Happy 50th anniversary to Attitash Mountain Resort: On Monday, Jan. 26, lift tickets are only $19.65 to celebrate. Pick up a free commemorative poster, vintage sticker and enter a free raffle to win one of 50 prizes or the grand prize and enjoy the après ski entertainment.• Military appreciation: Attitash will honor active-duty, veterans and retired servicemen and women with a free lift ticket on Saturday and Sunday. Active-duty family members are eligible for a $45 discount ticket. Everyone is invited to join the flag parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday, which starts at the top of Attitash and ends at the base area, where the national anthem will be played. On Sunday, skiers can represent a military branch in the fun Battle of the Badges GS race.

HE DIDN’T SPEAK UNTIL HE WAS FOUR AND A HALF. EVERY DAY WAS A BATTLE. THIS IS ROCCO TODAY.
