This weekend offers plenty of winter fun on Granite State slopes

Here are just a few of the many events going on at Granite State ski areas.

• Happy 50th anniversary to Attitash Mountain Resort: On Monday, Jan. 26, lift tickets are only $19.65 to celebrate. Pick up a free commemorative poster, vintage sticker and enter a free raffle to win one of 50 prizes or the grand prize and enjoy the après ski entertainment.• Military appreciation: Attitash will honor active-duty, veterans and retired servicemen and women with a free lift ticket on Saturday and Sunday. Active-duty family members are eligible for a $45 discount ticket. Everyone is invited to join the flag parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday, which starts at the top of Attitash and ends at the base area, where the national anthem will be played. On Sunday, skiers can represent a military branch in the fun Battle of the Badges GS race.

INCLUDING THOSE WITH AUTISM. WE FIRST INTRODUCE YOU TO ROCCO SEVEN YEARS AGO. HE COULD NOT SPEAK. HIS DAYS FILLED WITH SESSION AFTER SESSION WITH A VARIETY OF THERAPIST. HE DIDN’T SPEAK UNTIL HE WAS FOUR AND A HALF. EVERY DAY WAS A BATTLE. THIS IS ROCCO TODAY.
