New Coaches/Volunteers are selected through an application process due to the limited number of positions available on a seasonal basis. New England Disabled Sports winter coaches must meet a commitment of 20 days, including a maximum of 5 training days, for new coaches.
If selected coaches/volunteers will be invited to the coach’s orientation at the beginning of the season. All applicants will be notified via email as to the status of their application. Once selected all potential on snow coaches will be subject to a ski and ride test to assure the competency of our coaches and the safety of our students. Upon the successful completion of the on snow portion coaches will receive their pass and benefits. Thank you for your interest in becoming part of our elite team of dedicated volunteers focused on teaching adaptive snowsports.
