NEDS 2015 Inaugural Class of Interns, (L-R) Risa LePera, Kailee Collins, Andrea Blodgett, Lindsay St. Cyr, Caitlin Hubbard, Cameron Rodrigues

New England Disabled Sports is proud to offer limited internships to students who have an established partnership with any New England university’s Occupational Therapy or Sports Management programs studying Recreation, Tourism, Sports Management or a related field. NEDS interns to date have hailed from Plymouth State University’s Sports Management Program and the University of New Hampshire’s Occupational Therapy programs.

We accept resumes for Winter Internships in August and award those positions by Mid-October. We accept resumes for Summer Internships in March and award those positions in mid-April.

Our interns are responsible for creating and facilitating adaptive sports experiences for our students living with disabilities and, will collaborate with our coaches to make these experiences a reality, allowing NEDS students to continue to ‘break barriers.’ A NEDS Intern will gain real world experience in non-profit management and leadership, creating and executing adaptive sports programs, project management in addition to the many other skills required to manage and execute a nationally recognized adaptive sports program.
