New England Disabled Sports Mono-Ski Race Camp

NEDS would like to invite you to participate the first NEDS Mono-Ski Race Camp.
This event will provide introduction to advanced race training for experienced mono skiers. Training will include skills and drills on a variety of technical terrain as well as gate training and movement analysis. Two of the country’s leading adaptive race coaches will be instructing this year’s camp.
Erik is the Director of Alpine, Nordic/Biathlon & Snowboard Competition at National Sports Center for the Disabled. He has more than 30 years’ experience in competitive ski racing. He was a Team Breckenridge Alpine Coach, a US Ski Team Coach and is an Internationally Certified Coach, Level 500, with the US Ski Association. Currently, he sits as an International Paralympic Committee member as Head of Competition for North America.
Ray is the Head Coach for Paralympic Alpine Skiing. He was an assistant coach for the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games and voted 2011 USOC Paralympic Coach of the Year. In 2010 he was voted USSA International Adaptive Alpine Coach of the Year and USOC skiing Paralympic Coach of the Year. He served as the US Ski Team Adaptive Alpine Head Coach from 2006-2010.
Eligible participants: Experienced mono skiers with traumatic spinal cord injury.
This camp is only open to 15 participants and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Registration, lift tickets and lodging during the event are FREE!
Participants must provided their own travel and meals.
