Winter Challenge

We cordially invite you to attend a fundraiser to benefit New England Disabled Sports which is being held at the Boston College Club in downtown Boston on Wednesday October 28 from 6:00-10:00 PM.

The mission of New England Disabled Sports at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire is to offer sports and recreation within a safe, supportive, fun boundary-free environment for individuals with disabilities who require adaptive instruction.

This fundraiser will be a $250/plate dinner with engaging speakers, special guests, and a silent and live auction. The 4-course sit-down dinner will be served while we enjoy a spectacular view of Boston and its surroundings. The dinning is formal and will be limited to 90 people. The Club is on the 35th floor in the Bank of America building at 100 Federal St. in the middle of the financial district of Boston and has handicapp accessible parking.

We will have an interesting group of speakers:

-          Andy Parr: Former US Disabled Ski Team member, two time paralympian, and silver and bronze medalist at the 2002 Salt Lake Paralympics

-          Nate Smith: Sergent, New Hampshire National Guard, Deployed with Mountain Company 3rd/172, Injured November 2004 in Iraq

-          Lisa Beauregard will attend: Former US Ski Team member, 1988 Calgary Winter Olympian in Freestyle skiing , and Boston College Grad (class of '88)

The proceeds of the event will fund New England Disabled Sports’ year round programs, scholarships, veteran programs, race team and the purchase of specialized equipment.
