Team Questions

What is the deadline to form a team?

Teams must be formed by February 9, 2013 in order to be eligible for team prizes.

How many people can be on a team?

A team consists of a minimum of two fundraisers and can include any number of fundraisers. Be sure to sign up and build your fundraising page as a team for easy tracking. Four people can race in the Kostick Kup race and each race team must include at least one adaptive skier or rider.

How will I know how my team is doing?

Check out the Winter Challenge Blog for regular updates on the Team Fundraising results.

I signed up as an individual fundraiser, but I want to join a team. Can I switch?

Absolutely. The more the merrier! Just contact Laura Turek or Terry McDonald and let us know. Please note there are a few things to be aware of if you decide to switch from an individual fundraiser to a team:
  1. If you switch prior to February 9, your team is eligible for all of the team prizes including top fundraising awards and race numbers.
  2. After February 9th, you can still earn incentives but your team won’t be in the running for race numbers and top team prizes.
  3. Please also note that due to system limitations, we will combine the fundraising totals of all of your team members manually if you initially sign up as an individual fundraiser, but rest assured we will combine everything for you at the end.

Can I still buy a spot for a race team?

Certainly. While fundraising as a team can be a lot of fun and raise funds and awareness for New England Disabled Sports, it is possible to buy a dinner table and race team as in years past.
