Ways to Give

Individual Donors, Monthly Donors, Honorary or Memorial Gifts
Your contribution, regardless of size, helps sustain the mission of New England Disabled Sports. Donating is easy: you can do so by mail, online, or by dropping a check off at any NEDS office. We will provide you with an IRS-compliant thank you for your tax-deductible donation. Consider making a monthly donation to make an even greater impact. Honorary gifts are a heartfelt way to pay tribute to family, friends, and loved ones. These gifts often celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, or retirements, or simply acknowledge the significance of the honoree in a donor’s life. Any type of gift can be designated as honorary. Memorial gifts are a special way to honor a friend or loved one who has passed away. Any type of gift can be designated as a memorial gift. NEDS will acknowledge both the donor and the honoree in our communications when the appropriate contact information is provided.

Corporate Giving Opportunities
We offer numerous opportunities for corporate partnerships, including sponsoring annual events like the NEDS Annual Golf  Classic and Winter Challenge, or participating in a Coach for a Day weekend. Additionally, we have naming rights opportunities and options to support our programs and activities through cash donations or in-kind contributions. For more information about corporate giving opportunities contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977.

Workplace Giving and Matching Gifts:
Corporate matching gifts are a great way to make your contribution deliver double (or even triple) the impact, at no extra cost to you. Ask your employer if they offer a matching gift option; if so, include your company’s name with your donation, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send in the completed and signed form with your gift.

Donor Advised Funds:
A donor-advised fund (DAF) functions like a charitable investment account specifically for supporting the organizations you care about. It’s a highly convenient way to contribute to your favorite charities.

Planned Legacy Giving:
Throughout your life, you’ve stood up for your beliefs and identified what matters most to you, demonstrating your care and commitment. You have the ability to provide for your loved ones today and shape the future. By including New England Disabled Sports in your financial or estate plan, you can meet your financial goals while helping to ensure an active future for people living with disabilities. For more information about planned legacy giving contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977.

Stock Donations:
Gifts of stocks are an excellent way to support our programs. By donating publicly traded securities to New England Disabled Sports, you may save on income tax and capital gains. Please consult your financial advisor for information on the potential tax benefits. Contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977.

IRA Donations:
A Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) involves a direct transfer of funds from your IRA to a qualified charity. To be eligible for a QCD, you must be over 70½ years old. Consult a tax advisor to determine your eligibility. Contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977 to discuss the process.

Fundraise for NEDS:
Do you have a fun or creative idea to help NEDS offer lessons, scholarships, and camps for individuals with disabilities? We’re always excited to partner and collaborate on events. Donating items like vacation spots, high-value items, or packages for our special event auctions is another innovative way to support our mission and help us raise funds. Additionally, you can create a peer-to-peer fundraising page and engage your family, friends, or colleagues to raise money for NEDS. Contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977 with your idea.

Donate Auction or Raffle Items:
Donating items like vacation spots, high-value items, or packages can enhance our auctions held during special events. This is a creative way to help raise funds for NEDS.  Contact Vance Perry, Corporate Development Director at [email protected] or (781) 290-6977 to discuss the items that you want to donate.
