The Kostick Kup Award is present to an “individual living with a disability who has selflessly given back to adaptive sports and its community.” This award is nominated and chosen by staff and previous award recipients.
Brian Russell Memorial Award – Dan Dowd
The Brian Russell Award “recognizes the student-athlete who participates in adaptive sports who has demonstrated passion, perseverance, and who embodies the spirit of an exceptional adaptive athlete as demonstrated by our friend and coach, the late Brian Russell.” This award is nominated by our volunteer coaches.
NEDS Volunteer of the Year Awards – Tucker Sullivan and Nathan Malast
The Dr. Bob Harney Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to our volunteer(s) who has “demonstrated his or her dedication, commitment, and spirit to coaching individuals living with disabilities in the tradition of Dr. Bob Harney.” The recipient(s) are chosen by NEDS staff.
