New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) is a nationally recognized adaptive sports program offering year-round adaptive sports and recreation to the physically and emotionally wounded members of our United States Military.
As a chapter of Move United, New England Disabled Sports is dedicated to providing opportunities to our wounded veterans, now living with disabilities and working with them to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in sports and recreation.
Our sports instruction is conducted by highly trained professional and volunteer coaches employing a carefully planned educational setting in a safe, fun, supportive environment.
NEDS offers its wounded veterans the most state-of-the-art, technologically advanced adaptive equipment and your NEDS coach will identify the appropriate equipment to suit your skill level.
It’s been proven that participating in sports, recreation, and physical fitness can dramatically and positively affect self-confidence, outlook on life, and the ability to lead a rich, full, independent, and productive life.
Throughout the year NEDS offers programs customized and specific to our wounded warriors. These programs include housing, food and beverage, sports equipment, any necessary passes or permits for the featured sport, all in the company of and enjoying the camaraderie of, your fellow wounded veterans.
