New Ski Volunteer Perspective

Hi All, While there are still more lessons to be had, I thought I would let you guys know what a phenomenal year I've had with NEDS. My reaction upon my acceptance to volunteer with NEDS was quite similar to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvmluRCGv_s . I didn't really know what to expect from the program but it's safe to say that I was thoroughly excited. Whatever expectations I had going into NEDS were completely blown away. A world class staff helped familiarize be with the various equipment that NEDS has. The more experienced volunteers were more than willing to provide advice that I can carry with me for future lessons. NEDS has made this winter the best winter to date and I have never had more fun at a resort than I have had through NEDS. Everyday I had lessons was the best day ever. There is no better feeling than seeing a smile on a students face and knowing they had a great day on the hill NEDS is a program that I am so thankful to be a part of and look forward to being a part of for many future seasons.
